Dear international students,

the University of Bremen offers you with Global Education a programme which is specific to your study abroad. This programme will allow you to choose courses which combine a high academic standard with the particular field of interest of international students. It was designed for students from diverse academic areas in order to make a multidisciplinary approach towards their field of study possible.
Global Education is designed for all internationalen students who would like to

• acquaint themselves with the German culture, history, literature and politics.
• integrate an international and intercultural perspective into the German educational
system.
• receive an impression about the process of studying and doing research in
Germany.
• integrate valuable intercultural experiences into their studies at their home university.
The courses will be offered in German and English.

You can obtain up to 15 credit points with Global Education.

The Programme

As a visiting student at the University of Bremen you are free to choose any course offered in Global Education, independent of your actual field of study. The online descriptions of the courses name the specific requirements you will have to meet at the end of the courses (exams, term papers, etc.).
